We are looking for a proven Senior Project Manager to join our leadership team and contribute to our sustainable growth plan. Property managers, facility managers, building owners and GC’s throughout Eastern Massachusetts have trusted LC Anderson to design, build and service their HVACR systems since 1943. In this role, you will lead and support the Estimating and Project Management team and directly build customer relationships, manage and engineer construction projects with select building owners and General Contractors. Pay Range: $120,000-$150,000 plus generous performance-based bonus plan

Qualifications:

  • Graduate Mechanical Engineer (BSME) with strong emphasis in HVAC systems
  • 7 plus years in Project Management role with a HVAC contractor
  • Current driver’s license and clean driving record

  • High competence of HVAC design, systems, equipment, ductwork, piping, electrical, and controls
  • High competence of construction process and adhering to all general contractors’ requirements. Comfortable, confident, and very aware on the job site.

Key Job Requirements:

  • Responsible for meeting/exceeding a mutual agreed to sales quota for assigned accounts while expected to network to establish new long term business relationships.
  • Interact with clients (owners, general contractors and engineers) to meet current client expectations and earn new business opportunities
  • Coordinate, project manage and oversee execution of construction projects in accordance with plans, specifications, and design build write up to meet customer expectations and company profit goals
  • Ability to negotiate contracts with final approval from management
  • Responsible for ownership of project from uncovering opportunity, quoting, negotiating , closing with client, attending onsite construction meetings, ordering equipment and coordinating subcontractors and installation scheduling and tracking all costs and critical path and issuing all change orders and progress billing to successfully close-out jobs and receive full payment and profit goal
  • Responsible for project profitability while focusing to meet/exceed customer’s expectations to build long term partnerships
  • Proficient with various Quoting and Project Management software.
  • Responsible for developing and building out the Estimating and PM team to accommodate sales growth plans and introduce improvements and best practices to the department. This includes hiring, onboarding, developing, and supporting each team member
  • Coordinate with Installation Manager to schedule technicians and materials to meet project deadlines
  • Recognizing and pricing additional work (change orders) in a timely fashion
  • Work well with L.C. Anderson employees, L.C. Anderson subcontractors, engineers, customer (General Contractor or End User) and other trades on projects
  • Flexible and able to adapt to the unique requirements of each project or situation
  • Flexible and able to work outside of standard working hours, when required by project, rigger, project schedule, or work backlog
  • Disciplined and detailed in gathering quotations from multiple equipment suppliers and subcontractors in order to make the right selection decision (price, turnaround and terms) and write subcontracts
  • Perform any other task which may be required, as directed by President of Construction
  • Make sure all work is performed in a professional manner: neat, clean, timely, meeting industry best practices and customer needs with as little inconvenience as possible to the customer

We are looking for an experienced Licensed Plumber/Pipefitter to join our growing Installation team. Property managers, facility managers, building owners and GC’s throughout Eastern Massachusetts have trusted LC Anderson to design, build and service their HVACR systems since 1943. In this role, you and your Apprentice(s) will coordinate and execute L.C. Anderson piping and boiler installation projects as assigned.

Pay Range: $45-55/hour based on experience.

Qualifications: 

  • Current driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Current Massachusetts Sheet Metal License
  • OSHA-10 and/or 30 hour class
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum 5 yrs of commercial boiler installation/modification experience
  • MA Plumbing/Pipefitting license a must
  • OSHA 10 Certified 
  • Ability to plan, estimate, order material, and execute commercial boiler installation and replacements with minimal oversight
